Biography

I am at partner Gingras, Cates & Wachs, and I have dedicated my practice to helping injured and disabled people with personal injury, workers' compensation, and Social Security claims. I also often act as a mediator, helping people resolve their disputes before their cases go to trial.

I practice out of the Eau Claire, WI office, and have lived in Eau Claire since the early 1980's. My husband, who is also a lawyer, and I have three adult children. We have a dog, a black lab named Artie, who comes to the office with me and is training to provide comfort to clients who are in stressful situations. I enjoy traveling, the arts, snowshoeing, and cooking when time allows. I'm passionate about photography and enjoy displaying my art at local shows and sales.

If You Were Not a Lawyer, What Would You Be

I would be a travel writer and photographer, bringing the magic of other cultures to my readers.

When You're Not Working...

I like to be creative, whether it is with my camera, working on children’s stories or creating art. I also enjoy volunteering for local non-profits.
