My career in law started with my family. My parents, lifelong employees of public schools, instilled a passion for learning in me at a young age. I carried this with me to the University of Wisconsin where I studied economics, political science and, eventually, the law. As an attorney, my passion for learning is now an asset. Continuously reading and researching keeps me at the forefront of developments in the law and makes me a better advocate on behalf of our clients.
Before law school, I worked for an environmental non-profit organization, advocating to bolster Wisconsin’s renewable energy portfolio. Outside of the office, I am constantly itching to travel. Always looking for my next place to go, I crave new experiences and meeting new people. Currently next on my list? Iceland. I hope to get there before year’s end. Yet, it isn’t always an international trek that preoccupies me. Often it’s just the next bike ride, or the next run to picnic point. Whether I am biking, riding, or flying, I always like to be on the go.
Finally, I am hopelessly addicted to political news and all things Bucky Badger. On Wisconsin!
