My parents raised me simply. If you are in a position to help, do so. If you are not in that position, figure out how to be. I am fortunate that I am able to do just that on a daily basis. That is why I became a lawyer… to help the folks in my community.

Rights, privileges and immunities are meaningless unless they are regularly enforced and defended. We do that by going to court. I have dedicated my life to making the promises of the Constitution a reality on the ground.
